In this world of hate where words fly like bullets and pound like fists
I know for sure that I'm the one that deserves a taste of this
But for now we'll stand at attention to the oncoming dawn
And we will bow in sad submission at the feet of noone
for no matter what the voices of the shadows throw our way
Our hearts are set aglow in the hopes for a new day
brandishing the weapons that we all know how to wield
To invite the dirge of enemies on the far end of the field
Crying out their bloodthirsty roars and charging for the throat
their tongues are twisting blaspemies in songs of random note
Thier grotesque demonic faces carry eyes with horrifying stares
and black blood forces its way through corroded cappillaries
But we stand so ever still here with our trusty brandished steel
and we cut their lies away in ways that they can never heal
and firmly we shall plant our feet on the foundation that we know
If we are killed in this battle our kingdom will still grow
one of many battles up to now I have survived
as long as I'm true to myself I'm sure to stay alive...
